Overflow and capacity help
Every practice runs into the same wall: more work than people, usually right when deadlines stack up. If you would rather keep your clients on schedule than turn them away or hire for a few busy months, we can take part of the load. We scope each arrangement in writing before work starts.
- Tax season overflow. Individual and business returns prepared to your standards and sent back for your review and signature
- Outsourced accounting overflow. Monthly closes, reconciliations and clean-up for clients whose books are behind
- Review support. A second set of eyes on complex returns and workpapers before they go out
For overflow work, the client relationship stays with you.
Succession: retiring or selling a practice
Some owners know exactly when they want to step back. Others only know it is on the horizon. Either way, the first conversation should be low pressure. Sargis will listen to what you want for your clients, your staff and yourself, explain how we work, and answer questions about what a transition could look like. Nothing here depends on a particular timeline.
We do not discuss price or deal terms on the first call. Those come later, if both sides want to go further, and they are decided between the parties, not set on a website.
Client confidentiality comes first
Your clients trusted you with sensitive information. We treat that as seriously as you do. Client consent is obtained before any client information is transferred, including consent under the IRS rules on disclosing tax return information where they apply. We are glad to put a confidentiality agreement in place before specifics are shared, and we will not contact your clients unless you ask us to.
What to expect from a first call
- A relaxed 20 minute conversation, CPA to CPA
- Your questions about capacity, review help or a future transition
- A clear next step, or a clear no if it is not a fit
Questions we get asked
Do you take my clients when I send overflow work?

What kinds of overflow work do you take?
Tax season overflow for individual and business returns, outsourced accounting overflow such as monthly closes and clean-ups, and review support on complex returns. We scope each arrangement in writing first.
Is a succession conversation confidential?
Yes. We are glad to sign a confidentiality agreement before specifics are shared, and we will not contact your clients unless you ask us to.
What happens to client information in a transition?
Client consent is obtained before any client information is transferred, including consent under the IRS rules for disclosing tax return information where they apply.
Can you tell me what my practice is worth?
Not on a first call. We do not quote prices or deal terms in advance. If both sides want to go further, those are discussed directly and decided between the parties.
